History
In 1964, Bournemouth and Poole College of Art was formed by merging the Municipal Art School Bournemouth and Poole College of Art The name was changed to the University of Bournemouth and Poole of Art and Design in 1980, and the first new building in The current campus opened in 1984, built at a cost of £ 2.3 million.
