Students are based on a campus that is located in Poole, near Bournemouth University and Wallisdown. Campus houses workshops and work spaces, a gallery, a museum and library Plastics.
The Pavilion of Enterprise (PE) on campus is a separate and independent initiative to develop, attract and retain new creative businesses in the Southwest.
Bournemouth Screen Academy
Due to the growing reputation, both nationally and internationally, the AIB, in collaboration with the University of Bournemouth, won the bid to be a Screen Academy in 2005. The film, costume and performance AIB courses are a central component of the offer of the Academy of the screen. Skillset These designations were designed to recognize excellence in film and media based on wider screens. The 7 or so institutions Screen Academy status could access grants and endowments draw income (supported by the UK Film Council).
Bournemouth Skillset Media Academy
was introduced in 2007 Skillset Media Academies and BU AIB and successfully applied to become also a Media Academy in 2007.
In May 2010, the BA (Hons) Film Production at AUB received accreditation pioneer, in 2011 only two undergraduate film courses in the UK with the accreditation of skills. The AUB now has two accredited skills courses, BA (Hons) Animation Production and BA (Hons) Film Production. The UAB with Bournemouth University is committed to reapply for the license Skillset Media Academy in 2011.
