Kim meets with Russian President Putin
North Korean President Kim Jong Un meets with Russian
President Vladimir Putin The meeting was held on April 25 at Far East State
University in Vladivostok, Russia, where bilateral and international issues are
discussed. Putin said on the occasion that he supports reducing tensions on the
Korean Peninsula. Putin is only the sixth country leader to have met since Kim
took office in 2011.

Malaria vaccine start in Malawi
On April 24, Malawi's vaccine was launched in the African
country of Malawi. Malawi became the first country in the world to use malaria
vaccine. This vaccine was named as RTSSO. The World Health Organization (WHO)
welcomed this historic event. The WHHO has announced that the vaccine will soon
be available to children in Ghana and Kenya. More than two and a half million
children die from malaria in Africa every year. An estimated 435,000 children
worldwide suffer from malaria. The WHHO explained that a child dies of malaria
every two minutes.

Kenneth Tufan in Mozambique
Kenneth Tufan was killed on April 26 in the African country
of Mozambique. Heavy rainfall caused by Typhoon, along with wind speeds of about

March 2019. About 900 people were killed in Mozambique, Malwai and Zimbabwe at

has been revised to 253. Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector
General of Police (IGP) Pujit Jayasundara, on the instructions of Sri Lankan
President Maithripala Sirisena, have resigned. Sirisena said National Tawheed
Jamaat (NTJ) chief Zahran Hashim (40) led the suicide attacks on Easter Day.

US imposes sanctions on Pakistan
The US has imposed sanctions on Pakistan for repatriating
the deported and refusing to take care of the offended citizens after the visa
has expired. The US Home Office has the power to delay or deny visa to
Pakistani citizens and residents for no reason. Pakistan has been included in
the list of 10 countries that have been hit by the US embargo. US imposes
sanctions this year on Ghana Along with these two countries, Guyana (2001),
Gambia (2016), Cambodia, Eritrea, Guinea, Sierralion (2017), Burma and Laos
(2018) are implementing US sanctions.

Another bomb blast in Sri Lanka
